Sunny Days♥

Spring is officially here. Although looking outside the window, majority of the time you wouldn't think it is. However, one day, on the off chance, it was sunny (and pretty warm too), so I took the advance and went to shoot an OOTD.

Yes, my converse are as white as snow - mainly because they were literally a day old. As they're white, they go with ANYTHING, and I like the efficiency of that. It may have been sunny, but that doesn't mean I'm not wearing my jacket - I love it and I believe it pulls the whole outfit together.

Wearing my beloved new Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Lipstick in 714 - I'm obsessed with this red. Oh so gorgeous and ever so classy, am I right? But who doesn't love matching their lipstick to their hair anyways?!

I don't own any other tops like this one - I love the "off the shoulders" style and the stripes too. The colours on the top match the jeans ideally. As a whole, I like the casual look of this outfit but how it doesn't look too "boring".

Jeans - Pull & Bear
Top - New Look
Jacket - eBay
Shoes - Converse

Certainly my go-to look at the moment! Do you have a go-to outfit?

Current Hair Essentials♥*

Likewise with skincare, I'm either all for or not with haircare. Sometimes I use numerous products in my hair after washing, other times I don't. I had wanted to dye my hair red for the longest time ever, so about a month ago, I took the plunge and dyed it (thanks mum). Along came the responsibility of using products to maintain the colour and make sure it lasts red for as long as possible.

From personal experience, I would say it is the shampoo and conditioner that helps pro-long the colour. I like to use a matching shampoo and conditioner - maybe that's just preference or maybe it's scientifically proven to help your hair or something, who knows. The shampoo I'm using is L'Oréal Elvive Colour Protect Caring Shampoo. Not only does it smell incredible (it makes my hair smell gorgeous), but it's also caring towards my hair. It's rich, thick and creamy yet lathers into a mass of bubbles. To match, I'm using L'Oréal Elvive Colour Protect Caring Conditioner. Very much like the shampoo, the conditioner is super creamy and leaves my hair extremely silky. Both the shampoo and conditioner are designed to help protect your dyed hair and I'm certain these two do. Basically, the dream team.

I haven't experimented with that many dry shampoos, however, I had high expectations for Fudge Urban Crisp Pear & Sweet Vanilla Dry Shampoo*. Straight away, I was greeted with the beautiful scent of crisp pear and sweet vanilla. I only needed to spray a small amount per section, fair to say I was chuffed about that. When I was finished using it on my roots and ensured to rub it in, I was shocked at my hair. It looked voluminous and pretty great. It looks great used in my hair whether I'm leaving my hair down or shoving it up into a ponytail (may I add how huge and volumised my roots look when it's tied up!) Not only does it smell brilliant, it guarantees fantastic results. Definitely one of my hair essentials.

Have you tried any of these products? What are your current hair essentials?

Blogsallbeautyy has turned two!♥

2 years ago, 730 days ago. April 10th marked the official anniversary of blogsallbeautyy. It has not quite registered that this blog was created two whole years ago. If you love something, you give it your all, and I guess that is what has happened with this blog and you know what they say, time flies when you are having fun! (You can read my first ever post here).

In order to celebrate, I thought it would be cute to have my sister bake me some little cupcakes especially for this post. It seems just like yesterday this blog was created. It is crazy to see how quickly it has grown. I have met amazing people via blogging, had incredible opportunities with brands, improved my photography and grew my content. All in the space of two years.

I thought I would do a quick 10 facts about me, as I do not tend to base this blog around myself, hence the fact it is a beauty blog.

1. I'm Jasmine!
2. I'm Scottish
3. Costa > Starbucks
4. I can speak French
5. My own birthday is two days before my blog's birthday
6. I had braces
7. Pakora is just life
8. My makeup collection has expanded about 10 times bigger than it was previously before this blog
9. I never keep up with fashion trends
10. I recently dyed my hair red

Where does this lead blogsallbeautyy to? I am determined to feature more fashion. I have about three posts on my blog that are completely fashion, however, I would love to do more. Of course, not to mention my beauty posts. I shall still be bringing you your weekly dose of beauty each Monday, just keep an eye out! I have lots planned for the upcoming year(s)!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BLOGSALLBEAUTYY!

So You Want Perfect Eyeliner?♥

To do your makeup, you have got to have makeup brushes. For your makeup to look good, you have got to have good makeup brushes. By now, I think it comes at no shock that I love Real Techniques. I already own their Core Collection and Eye Makeup Brush Starter Kit, both I adore. When I received the Collector's Edition Eyelining Set at Christmas from my cousin, I was overjoyed - she clearly knows my love for the brand!

The set includes four brushes, each with the same design as every other brush in the range. The brushes are the same as the eye brushes and are purple, yet, instead of the matte finish the normal eye brushes have, these have a shiny, chrome finish. The finish makes them feel that little bit fancier than usual, and I think that's down to the fact that they're part of the collectors edition. As usual, the brand's name is on the handle, along side Sam and Nic's signature. The brushes also have their standard black around the bottom.

The set consists of a smudge brush, eyeliner brush, pointed liner brush and precision liner brush. Each brush has been carefully created to a high standard - the bristles are all super soft. Out of the set, I reckon I use either the smudge brush or eyeliner brush the most. If you didn't already know, I love eyeshadow, so the smudge brush comes in useful when smudging eyeshadow on my lower lash line. For more definition on my upper lash line, the eyeliner brush is great as it's easy to use to apply shadow in place of eyeliner, and can be used for gel eyeliner. I also like to use it for my brows too! The precision liner brush and pointed liner brush are more essential if using gel eyeliner (or black eyeshadow) if your aim is to achieve the perfect cat eye.

All in all, I think these brushes are fantastic. Maybe because I'm a vivid Real Techniques user, I'm biased here. I just find them pretty sitting in my collection but are often used. They are perfect whether they are for eyeshadow or eyeliner. Not to mention that they also wash well too, added bonus!

Have you tried these? If so, did you like them?
