One Brand - Maybelline♥

I have read many blogs about one brand only. This one, I decided to do Maybelline make-up products. I wouldn't say this is my favourite brand, I do have multiple favourite brands but I just chose to do this brand.
My first product is the Maybelline Baby Lips in "Pink Punch". It's a lipbalm but I'm not too keen on it. It isn't too great if you have chapped lips - you can see the pink on the chaps. The pink is a nice colour yet you see the chapped patches. The other colours are maybe better though. These are only £2.99 which is a really good price.

My second product is Maybelline Color Tattoo in 35 "On and on bronze". It's such a nice brown colour! I really like this product, people use it as a base colour and apply over it, but I sometimes just use it as an eyeshadow itself as it looks really good. This is the only colour I own, but I think the other shades would be nice too. The pigment is also really good. You can purchase these for only £4.99 which is a decent price.
My final product is Maybelline Watershine Gloss in 715 "Crystal Dune". It's a sparkly lipgloss, and I quite like the applicator. The colour is alright though - I just think you need to apply it really lightly, not too much or it looks extremely sparkly. It can sorta plump your lips too! I don't tend to reach for this lipgloss though, but it is okay. I'm not too sure of the price as it varies where you purchase it.

Those are all of my Maybelline products. Some of the products are better than others. There is some products I'd really like to try out but other products catch my eye and I purchase them first. Any questions leave them in the comments section.

5 Products I Regret Buying♥

I recently was suggested to do this post, and I thought this was a good idea so decided to do this! It's not that I absolutely hate the brand, I personally just don't like the colour or it isn't the right shade for me. Also, these are not in any order, it's just a random order!

This first product is a W7 blush in shade "Baby Pink". To be honest, the only reason I bought this is because I was in need of a blush, but now I slightly regret it. It's way too pink, it looks quite light in the photos but in person it's so pink, it makes me look like Barbie! I'm quite glad it wasn't an expensive blush, it was only about £3 but it just looks really bad on my skin, I think it's maybe because I'm quite pale.

This is 17's eyeliner, and I think the shade is just black. It is an okay eyeliner, there's only one reason I dislike it, which is that it wears off really easily. I wear it on my waterline, and it barely even lasts 10 minutes, it's quite annoying. I bought it as I thought it would be good as it's by 17, but am quite disappointed.

This product is 2True's concealer in Shade 2. I was recommended this by a friend so decided to give it a go. It's a 3 in 1 liquid concealer. I think this shade is too orange for me, as you can see from the above photo, it's too dark before it's blended in, then once blended in, you don't see much of a difference. I was quite annoyed as it creased really quickly too, and if I applied it to any blemishes, it just made them stand out even more!

This is Rimmel's "Sweet Jelly" lipgloss in shade "170 Sorbet". It is quite a nice colour I guess, but it is awfully sticky on my lips, and my hair gets stuck to it! It also tastes horrid (Not like you tend to taste make-up, but it is a lip product!) It's a bit shimmery too, and I'm not a fan on shimmer lipgloss! Maybe it's just not the lipgloss for me.

My last product is 2True's lipgloss in shade 2. When I first got this lipgloss, I adored it! But over time, I began to dislike it. The colour is quite nice on my lips, but is EXTREMELY sticky, even worse than the Rimmel lipgloss! It wears off really easily too, and doesn't smell too good either. When my hair is blown onto it, it gets covered in the lipgloss, leaving it sticky! Overall, a bad product for me!

These are all the products I regret buying. The brands are good, but these products happen not to be for me! Thanks for reading and leave any comments or questions in the comment section!

My Current Skincare Routine - May 2014♥

I decided I'd do a skincare post today instead of a make-up/nails type of post. I thought this would be really helpful to some people because I, myself, like to read blog posts on skincare as I can sometimes get recommendations! I don't really use many products but I'm just going to get into it.

Firstly, I start off with "Garnier Pure Active Anti-Blackhead Deep Pore Wash" facial wash. I think it is genially a good face wash - it leaves my skin feeling soft. I just wish it'd go more into the pores and remove blackheads, as it says. The smell isn't too good but it's something you get used to after a couple of uses. Overall, it's a good face wash, and I'd give it 7 stars out of 10. You can find it at any local Superdrug or Boots stores.

After my facial wash, I use this "Skinlogy" cleansing toner. I pretty much splash some onto a cotton pad and sweep all over my face to remove any extra make-up or dirt that might have been left on my skin that I didn't pick up to begin with. I only came across this whilst browsing in a Wilkinsons store, and decided to buy it. It's actually pretty good. I'd give it 8 out of 10 stars.

Finally, to finish off my skincare routine, I use the "Skin Therapy" moisturiser. I think this is quite a good moisturiser and it leaves my skin feeling super soft! I, yet again, came across this product whilst browsing in a Wilkinsons store, and at the time I needed a moisturiser, so decided to buy it. It is a light moisturiser, it isn't too thick which I like and isn't too harsh on the skin. All in all, I'd give this 9 out of 10 stars!

That is all for my current skincare routine. I hope you enjoyed and will maybe check out these items! If there is any questions about these products, or any of my blog posts, leave a comment in the comments section and I shall try get back to you.

My Top 5 Nail Polishes♥

Today, I thought I'd write about my favourite nail polishes. Whenever I paint my nails, these tend to be the colours I reach for. I shall now go into a bit of depth about each colour.

The first one is Revlon "Sweet Tart" in 185. As you can see, it's a really pretty colour which any girl would love (Obviously, it's pink!) It dries very nicely, and my nails always looks really pretty! It applies so evenly, and this is my nail after just two coats.

This lovely colour is George "Trick" in 39. It's such a lovely colour! I personally think it's quite a unique colour too as I don't own anything else like it! It caught my eye as soon as I seen it in  the shop! This is my nail after just one thick coat.

This pretty colour is Barry M "Torquoise" in 295. It's a very nice shade of blue, a light shade and yet it looks great! I really like this nail polish but that may just because I love Barry M's collection! This is my nail after one coat.

This nice colour is yet another Barry M nail polish, but this time it's "Berry Ice Cream" in 308. This colour is so cute and girly. It's a pastel shade which is great to wear in the Spring and Summer months. This is my nail after one coat.

This final colour is a 2True nail polish in Number 48. One of my friends wore this and I adored it, so I went out and bought it! It's such a girly colour, even though it's more on the blue side, it's still a great wear! I love the glittery shimmer in it which makes it look lovely. This is my nail after two coats.

That's all for my top 5 nail polishes. I hope you maybe took some inspiration from it and will check out these lovely nail polishes! If there's any questions about any of the above nail polishes, make sure to leave a comment in the comment box below!
