2 Halloween Nail Art Designs♥

Firstly, I'd like to point out how bad the lighting is. I do apologise for it, it's only bad because the weather was horrible yesterday. Hopefully it shall be better next week!

Halloween is this Friday (31st), and as much as I don't like this celebration, I thought it'd be cool to share these fun and easy nail art designs with you. One is extremely simple to do, and the other requires a little more concentration. I'm just going to get right stuck in, with a step to step guide.

Nail Art 1 : "The Sparkly Orange"

This is all you need. An orange nail polish and a glittery orange. If you don't have a glittery orange, you could just use ordinary glitter nail polish. My orange is a Revlon one which I got in some body set and the glitter is an unknown brand.

Step 1

For this step, all you need to do is paint your nails a solid orange colour. To achieve this, I applied two thick coats.

Step 2

Finally to finish, apply your glitter coat of polish for an orange sparkle. Personally, I think you could get away with wearing this any time of the year! See? Simple!

OPTIONAL STEP : Apply a clear top coat to seal everything in place.

Nail Art 2 : "The Creepy Eyes"

All you need for this design is a black polish, which mine is again an unknown brand, a white nail polish, mine is by Sinful Colors in "Snow White", and a dotting tool. If you don't own a dotting tool, a kirby works perfectly fine - I've done this look many times using a kirby and turns out fine every time!

Step 1

To start off, paint your nails a solid black colour. I used three coats as this nail polish is extremely thin.

Step 2

Using the dotting tool (or kirby), towards the tip of the nail, dot two dots. This acts as the white of the "eye".

Step 3

To finish off the "eyes", take the dotting tool again and dot two black dots in the middle of the white to create the pupil. I put the pupil in the middle of the eye, but you could dot them anywhere in the eye!

I advise you to seal this design with a clear coat, just to protect it in case of any chipping.

Those are my two Halloween Nail Art Designs. I found the inspiration for the "eyes" design on Pinterest last year, and took my spin on them! My favourite of the two is the eyes, mainly because they look as if you've taken more time and effort, when really, you haven't.
