Covershoot Cosmetics* have really been hitting it off with their products and are constantly impressing me. If you can recall me raving about their products in a previous post (reboot your memory by finding that exact post here), then you'll know that I loved the products. When the PR offered to send me more products to try out and play around with, I jumped at the chance and couldn't resist the offer.
Baked eyeshadows; something I don't own many of but no idea why. I loved the diversity in colours that I was sent as every one of them are unique and vary from each other. With me being me, I was instantly drawn towards the gold shades - can we please talk about how gorgeous they are?! They aren't overly pigmented, but they still have a decent colour pay off. For their price (normally around the £3 mark), I reckon they are quite good.
I wasn't aware that Covershoot actually did blushes and bronzers, so I was intrigued to try them out. I liked the bronzer because it was light enough for my pale skin but wasn't too on the orange side, and the blushes were natural yet effective in a way. They aren't chalky thankfully, and aren't too pigmented, which I believe is a bonus as it saves you from using too much product. My favourite has got to be the bronzer, it gives some definition without being too dramatic.
I was perhaps most excited to try out the brushes, and I think that's mainly down to the fan brush - I finally own one! The eyeshadow brush* (which is a bit dirty, oops!) is pretty good at blending out the edges of any shadow, or for smudging shadow on the lower lash line. The fan brush* I like, as it applies just the right amount of highlight without looking "chunky" but doesn't quite give the "blinding look" I desire, however, up the layers you apply and voila! The foundation brush*, not exactly my favourite brush but this isn't down to this single brush itself, it's because I'm not a fan of foundation brushes in general. The angled blush brush* I like for contouring or bronzing as it fits perfectly into the hollows of your cheeks. It also blends it out really well and naturally. Finally, the kabuki brush*, which I particularly like to use for my all over pressed powder as I find it works best for that.
Again, not a let down from Covershoot Cosmetics. All of their products are affordable, so who can knock them back? I feel that you won't be let down regardless which products you try!
Have you tried any of these products? What are your favourite Covershoot Cosmetics products?
