Naked Flushed Palette Review♥

Usually, I'm more of an eyeshadow fan, and don't wear much face makeup. However, that all changed when I found this palette! It's so gorgeous, and just HAD to get it! Because I love it that much, I decided to share it with you.

The box it comes in is so sweet! I got mine in the shade "Native" from feelunique.com. On the high street, it's £22. On feelunique.com, it's £16.50, however, there was a discount code meaning it came to £14.85 - amazing, right?! I also find it pretty cool how on the box, it shows you what the products look like!

All Urban Decay palettes have such a sleek look to their packaging. I love how the writing looks shiny, very fancy!

Now onto the actual makeup itself! If you're not familiar with this palette, it includes a bronzer, highlighter and blush. I never, ever wore blush until I got this palette! In the photo, it looks quite pink, but use a light hand and it's fine! The highlighter is so stunning! I've never seen a highlighter quite as gorgeous as this! As for the bronzer, I never really wear bronzer, therefore, I am still experimenting with it!

So far, this palette has been great. Not a let down at all, and is way better than my expectations were! I genuinely wasn't expecting to use it as much as I do!

What's your opinion on this?

My No.7 Makeup Collection&Favourites♥

No.7, a brand I hadn't tried then ended up with a fair little collection of their products. I must admit, I am a fan of their products!

My Favourites

This lipstick has been one of my favourites for ages! It's in Classic Rose, and the colour is super gorgeous. It applies so smoothly and the pigmentation is beyond me! It's not too pink, I'd say it's more of a rose pink nude. It costs £9.95 here and I totally recommend the colour. If you're in need for a rose-pink nude, this would be ideal.

Rate : 10/10

Mascara has got to be included! I love this one, it give such good volume to your lashes! I think the red, glittery packaging makes it look adorable. Sometimes, I feel too much mascara is on the wand, which can leave your lashes clumpy, therefore I wipe some mascara off the wand, and then apply it! It makes your eyes appear bigger and more awake looking. I think mine is smaller than average, as it was in a gift set, but you can buy it for £13.50 here, and if you're looking for a mascara worth spending a bit more money on, this is it!

Rate : 8/10

I've recently started using eyeshadow a lot more, and when I received this palette at Christmas, I couldn't get over how gorgeous it was! From the packaging to the actual colour range, I couldn't wait to use this! Sadly, I believe it's limited edition, and is no longer sold anymore, but it's a mixture of No.7 eyeshadows, mostly shimmers with a few mattes, it's truly stunning!

Rate : 9/10

Another eyeshadow, except this is an individual. I usually prefer palettes, but this little cosmetic is an exception! It's the bottom shade from the Cappuccino trio. I've been loving gold eyeshadows, and when I found this, I instantly knew I'd love it and that it'd come with great use! You can buy it for £7.00 here, and if you love gold eyeshadows, you need this in your collection!

Rate : 9/10

My last favourite is a lipgloss, and it's a high shine, meaning it's glossy looking! It's in the shade Glaze, and oh my goodness, can we take a moment to look at how gorgeous the colour is?! I got it, and wasn't 100% sure if I was keen on the colour, as I don't tend to go for browns/nude colours, but I was so wrong! I love it! Never judge a book by it's cover I guess! You can buy it for £9.00 here, and I'm so happy to own this, as it's gorgeous!

Rate : 10/10

No.7 has a range of gorgeous products, which are perfection in my opinion! I wouldn't say it's typically drugstore, but it isn't highend either, it's in the middle. You absolutely get what you pay for as they're all high-quality products. They're all available to buy from Boots.

Do you own any No.7 products? If so, whats your favourite products?

Lee Stafford "Argan Oil Collection" Review♥*

Being a beauty blogger, I love trying out new products. In the past, I haven't really experimented with many hair products. However, I have fallen in love with the new Lee Stafford Argan Oil Collection*. If your hair is in need of some treatment, I definitely recommend these, as I've noticed a vast improvement with my hair - it's shinier and healthier!

I'm going to start off with the most exciting item, which is the Lee Stafford "Argan Oil" Pre-Shampoo Treatment. With many hair treatments available out there to buy, it can be a little tricky to choose just one. This one is honestly a God send to me! I use it once a week on damp hair and leave it on for 10-15 minutes, then wash out. My hair is so much softer and healthier since using this! If you're in look of a hair treatment which works wonders, definitely give this a go!

In the past, I've used heat protector sprays, but never a gel! This is the Lee Stafford "Argan Oil" Glossing Blow Dry Gel. I was curious to see the formulation of this, and it's definitely different! The smallest amount of this product sure goes a long way! It recommends a grape sized amount, which is the amount I use, and I manage to distribute this throughout my hair easily. The name is true to how it works on the hair - my hair looks sleek and glossy after blow drying it!

Last up is the Lee Stafford "Argan Oil" Ultra Hydration Lotion. I use this after I've blow dried my hair, and it just makes it feel and look super hydrated! It also makes it so much easier to brush your hair with, and your hair still looks amazing the next day! It comes with a pump, and I only use two pumps for all my hair. In no way does this make your hair greasy!

I've not been let down by these Lee Stafford products at all, and are all now in my hair care routine! These all smell excellent, and work wonders on your hair!

Have you tried these yet? If so, what do you own from the collection?

My 14 Favourites of 2014♥ || Collab

Now we're in 2015, I can finally sit down and write about my 2014 favourites. When I think about it, I've had a fair few favourites, some which chopped and changed whilst some others did stick around! I've narrowed it down to 14 favourites to show you, all of which are beauty related, yet I've categorised them.

Hair

Throughout 2014, I didn't really try that many hair products. However, one I always reached for (and still do!) is the VO5 High Volume Extra Strong Hold Weather Resistant Hairspray. I have naturally straight-ish hair, so anytime I do anything adventurous with my hair, I trust this to do the job and keep my hair in place! It smells so nice, and thankfully, this is not a sticky hairspray! It also brushes out really easily, bonus!

Facial Skincare

First up, I have to give credit to the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. This is an absolute saviour to me! It was a later discovery in 2014, I believe I purchased this around November, but I use it all the time to remove my makeup. I usually used makeup wipes to remove my makeup, but since I bought this, I can honestly assure you I will never go back to makeup wipes, ever! I'd seen it all over the blogging world, so thought I'd tried it out for myself, money well spent!

My other favourite has got to be the Boots Essentials Fragrance Free Facial Toner. Ever since I got into beauty/skincare, facial toner was one of my favourite things to use! This toner is amazing! It doesn't sting your skin, goes deep into your skin to remove any excess makeup or dirt and leaves your skin clean and soft!

Bath and Body

Of course I have to give a mention to Soap and Glory "Scrub of your life" body scrub! This has got to be one of the best body scrubs out there, no joke! It makes your skin unbelievably smooth. Oh, and did I mention how gorgeous it smells?!

Another Soap and Glory products, oops... This is the Soap and Glory "Heel Genius" foot cream. This doesn't smell like your typical Soap and Glory product, but I like the smell, yet others don't! I know a lot of people don't like feet so I'm going to keep this one short by saying it does make your feet soft!

Last up, a very famous product here in the Bloglovin world, Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel. I got this in November not long after the Christmas collection came out. If you haven't smelt or tried this, you need to get this next Christmas, as sadly it's limited edition! I think it smells like strawberry laces/bubblegum, which might be too sweet for some, though I love it!

Perfume

Obviously I'm going to include perfume, wait.. make that perfumes! I've been loving Emporio Armani "Diamonds Rose". It's such a unique scent, I really don't know how to describe this other than beautiful!

I bought this half way round the year, as it's limited edition throughout the Summer time. It's CK One Summer. Oh my! This smells so good! It'd describe it to be rather fruity. As you can see, I've used quite a bit, therefore, shows I am a fan!

My last perfume favourite has to be Soap and Glory "Original Pink" Eau De Parfum. Wow, wow, wow! The amount of complements I've received when wearing this just goes to show how nice it is! Even the bottle is gorgeous!

Make-up

I think in 2014, I found my holy grail concealer! It's the Maybelline Fit Me! Concealer. This is the best concealer I've ever tried! A small bit goes a long way, and blends out easily. I know for sure I'll be using this all 2015 too!

I'm going to be brutally honest, but when I saw this at first, I was on two minds whether or not to buy this as I didn't wear eyeshadow, and I'm now so glad I did! This is the W7 "In The Buff" palette. It's been my most worn eyeshadow palette, and it's my go-to for a simple and natural eye look. For the price, which I believe it retails between £5-£10, varying where you buy it, it's definitely worth the investment to getting as the colour are gorgeous and the pigmentation is amazing!

Mascara has got to be included, because, it's mascara..duhh! The Maybelline "Big Eyes"  mascara has been a massive favourite of mine all year! Many people dislike it, although I don't know why. I like to apply the upper lash mascara wand on my upper lashes (obviously) and combine it with the lower lashes mascara wand as I like the look it gives. The upper wand gives volume, with the lower wand giving length and separation.

For those days where I want a lip colour, but not too bright, I've used the Revlon Lip Butter in "Lollipop". It's a pretty pinky-berry colour. I have reached for it lots in 2014. Not only does it give colour, but it also is moisturising!

Finally, we have The Body Shop Lip Butter in Chocomania. This has helped so much with my dry, chapped lips in 2014. It doesn't smell like chocolate though! It's a lip butter so is a little on the greasy side. Still, it's fab!

Those are my 14 favourites of 2014. This is also a collab with Camille so make sure to go check out her post!

New Years Eve - Get Ready With Me♥ || Collab

Happy New Year! It's 2015 already and this is my first blog post for this year. I wanted to kick off this year with an exciting new post, something I've never done - a Get Ready With Me and a collab! I've never done a collab before, and it's pretty exciting! It's a collab with the lovely Molly, and she's also doing the same blog post over on her blog! I'm going to stop and get right into it.

Over view of all the products used. All of these are affordable, drugstore items, but the No.7 eyeshadow palette is limited edition and is no longer available.

Products used

Boots essentials moisturising cream. I used this to make my skin soft for smoother application.

Avon Makeup Setting Spray. I found it's better used before applying makeup as it helps keep your makeup on all day.

Maybelline Fit Me! Concealer and Rimmel Stay Matte Powder. The concealer looks orange in the photo but I assure you it isn't. It's quite a high coverage concealer for concealing dark circles and any blemishes. The powder insures your concealer stays put throughout the day/night, and also powders any oil you may have on your face.

No.7 Youthful Eye Serum. Although this may be a serum, on the back it says you can use it to keep your eye makeup stay on. In fact, it does so. A tiny bit goes a long way, and it blends creating a very smooth base in preparation for eyeshadow.

W7 In The Buff and Limited Edition No.7 palette. I used two palettes to create the eye look I wanted. Both palettes are very pigmented however the colours look better with a primer (Or in my case, I don't own a primer, so the eye serum).

Left - W7 palette. Right - No.7 palette.
The colour with a star on it (Light cream colour) was used as a base colour.
The colour with a 2 on it (pink colour) was used as an all-over lid colour.
I mixed the two shadows with a 3 on them (Light brown and chocolate brown colour) were mixed together for a crease colour.
The colour with a 1 on it (white colour) was used as a highlight colour on the brow bone and inner corner.

PS love.. Felt Eye Liner Pen. I did a thin line across my lash line and a mini wing. I like this as the tip is quite thin and easy to work with. Also, it's a black felt liner.

Maybelline Big Eyes mascara and No.7 Lash Impact mascara. I apply the No.7 mascara first for volume. I then follow with the Maybelline mascara, using the "Lower lash" mascara wand, as this gives length, separates the lashes and really opens up your eyes.

Avon Lipstick in Rouge. Since it was still during the festive period, I wanted to wear a red lip since I didn't wear one on Christmas Day. It's a dark red lipstick and looks very classy.

For clothes, I wore this gorgeous red and black tartan dress from New Look - it is from AX Paris, but this New Look had an AX Paris collection in it. I love it, it's comfortable and not too short on me. You can find it here. (It's honestly not as short on as it is made out to be in the picture!)

Make sure to check out Molly's blog as she'll be posting this post soon for our collab!
