Michael Buble "By Invitation"💕*

If you were to name any celebrity, the chances are very likely that they'll have their own beauty range, more specifically, a perfume or aftershave. So it was no surprise when I was asked about Michael Buble's beauty range. A lot of people tend to overlook celebrity perfumes, but I was intrigued to see what he had to offer.

By Invitation* || 100ml || - So at first glance, the bottle is quite simple, but I think that the overall aesthetics are rather pleasing, especially for the small price tag. Not evident in the photo, but I actually managed to crack the lid due to it just being plastic, but I don't find it to be a massive inconvenience. The bottle is quite thin, meaning it's not too bulky to throw into your bag to carry on the go, or for travelling with. Minus the lid being broken, the bottle itself is fairly sturdy. Of course it comes packaged in a box, which I never managed to photograph as I think I've thrown it away, but it's just a basic box which reads "By Invitation" across the front. And before anyone asks - I wouldn't class myself as a Michael Buble fan, so I wouldn't have bought the perfume purely for this reason.

Similarly to any other perfume on the market, it's formed of three different notes. The top notes include red fruits and bergamot, heart notes being lily, elegant rose, wild jasmine and spicy peony, followed by the base notes being sandalwood musks and vanilla praline. Looking at the blend of notes, it is evident that it's definitely a floral based perfume, with a hint of fruity notes throughout too. It's quite a unique, distinct scent to describe. I know for a fact that it won't be one for everyone as it is different, but I like it (and I'm not just saying it cause I've been sent it. I do genuinely like it). It's one that I wear on a daily basis (work, college etc) as it's versatile enough to wear whenever and wherever, and I can easily replace if I run out of as it's not going to break the bank. Additionally, when I wear this to work, I have honestly had customers complimenting it and asking what perfume I'm wearing! Which, on a separate note, is something I've noticed - it lasts for bloody hours! I find that with a lot of "cheaper" perfumes, the scent tends to fade really quickly and you need to keep topping up, but this one exceeds expectations.

I guess all I can say is that I've been pleasantly surprised by this, and it has actually taught me "never judge a book by its cover" - as it was Buble's perfume, I wasn't expecting anything overwhelming, but I really do like this perfume. I have a few "daily basis" perfumes which I switch between, but I somehow find myself always reaching for this one!

xx
